More from Brinca Dada
First news I’d like to share is that the Emerson House has been discontinued and is being replaced by the smaller Edward House.

The Edward House is currently available for $279 (limited time), but usually will retail for $349.
Second, the Bennett House is finally available!

The furniture Dylan Furniture collection is now available and the complete Maison Collection is absolutely incredible– as it should be for $349.

Finally, Brinca Dada has a set of teak hardwood blocks that are unlike any others. Regularly $59, right now you can snag these for $49.

I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
Room & Board Slim Collection in a Rainbow of Colors
We’re all about simple, modern, colorful and fun for kids here at BuyModernBaby, so the Slim Collection from Room & Board has a lot of potential for nurseries and kids rooms.

I already used the Etagere in one of my inspiration boards and think it’s something to remember when picking out nursery furniture or items for an older child’s space.
The airy steel pieces are powder-coated in bright colors. You can also get the Slim Collection in its original Natural laquered steel finish, but that’s not nearly as fun. I recommend the Slim Shelves and Media Consoles (available in several sizes) as great storage ideas and the C-Table, End Table and Round End Tables as side tables. With the largest shelf selling for $509, the pieces in the Slim Collection are quite reasonably priced.
Happy Holiday Giveaway 2011: Boon Glo

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Boon’s Glo since I first spotted it at last year’s ABC Kids Expo. This unique nightlight was one of the most fun and exciting decor accessories at the show and I knew that as soon as it came out, I wanted to share one with my readers.
The wait is finally over and Glo is ready to shine! Boon calls Glo a “color-changing nightlight with portable glowing balls” and that really sums it up. This nightlight features illuminated Glo balls that change color on the base and can be removed for play or to be taken into bed. After about 30 minutes, the light fades away.

To win a Boon Glo worth $85:
Visit Boon online, and then leave a comment telling us what else on their site is going on your holiday wishlist.
Be sure to enter your email address when you comment so that I can contact you if you are the winner.
The deadline to leave your comments and enter the giveaway is next Tuesday, December 6th at 8 am.
The winner will be chosen randomly (using random.org) from among the unique entrants. The giveaway is open to readers in the US only and who are over the age of 18. Happy Holiday Giveaway 2011: 4moms Cleanwater Collection

It’s week 5 of our 6 week giveaway series and the prizes are still going strong. Today I am extremely pleased to finally introduce you to the Cleanwater Collection from 4moms. This is my #1 pick for a baby bathtub and in my top baby shower gift picks.
Unfortunately, as with so much of today’s cool baby gear, it did not exist when my kids were babies. We had a plastic newborn to toddler tub without any of the wonderful gadgety features of the Cleanwater Collection.
The biggest problem we had with bathing our little guys was in between the wash and the rinse parts of bath time. We always opened the drain to let the dirty soapy water drain out and then quickly filled the tub back up with clean warm rinse water. In between however, we had a cold, wet baby shivering in the tub.
The Cleanwater bath collection from 4moms would have been the perfect solution. Plus, the bath spout cover with the digital thermometer is an extra useful feature that we could still use. My kids always tell me that they can’t turn the bath tub on because they don’t know how to set the correct temperature. The Spout Cover would have them both rushing to be the one to get the tub water ready and set perfectly.
To win the Cleanwater Collection from 4moms worth $90:
Visit 4moms online, and then leave a comment telling us your favorite feature of the Cleanwater Collection.
For an additional entry, follow 4moms on twitter and leave another comment letting us know that you did.
Be sure to enter your email address when you comment so that I can contact you if you are the winner.
The deadline to leave your comments and enter the giveaway is next Tuesday, December 6th at 8 am.
The winner will be chosen randomly (using random.org) from among the unique entrants. The giveaway is open to readers in the US who are over the age of 18. Good luck and tell your friends! *full rules

Oeuf Snake Giveaway Winner!
You all have lots of great ideas for new Oeuf Goodies. Sounds like a doll and a teddy bear would make great additions to the collection! As a Floridian, I love one commenter’s idea for a stuffed alligator. If it were even half as cool as this snake, I’d have to have one!
The randomly generated winner of Oeuf’s Snake is Shannon W. who loves the mask and tail sets and would like to see more of them!

Congratulations Shannon! Your Oeuf Snake will be on its way shortly.
Now we gave away one of Oeuf’s Goodies, but there are lots of beautifully soft decor items in the collection. I love all the pillows ($68): Ghost (with removable mask), Guitar, Apple (comes in other colors) and Pirate.

And their knit garlands ($56) are totally unique and fun.

Hearts, Flags, Clouds, Light Bulb

The other decorative Goodies that I really love from Oeuf are the Shadow Boxes. The Hand Crochet Alpaca Sea Life and Hand Crochet Alpaca Butterflies are incredible art options that will last a lifetime. They are just as beautiful and appropriate in the nursery as they would be in any part of a home.

Sets with 2 are $60, sets of 3 are $80 and the full sets of 6 are $120.
Ever since I ordered our Classic Oeuf crib 6 1/2 years ago, I’ve been a huge fan of Oeuf and I thank them for participating in our giveaway series! Don’t forget that you can keep up with all the latest from Oeuf by follow them on twitter and liking them on Facebook as well.

Tegu Mobility- New Must Have Holiday Gift
Last year I shared Tegu’s Magnetic Wooden Building Blocks with you as a great holiday gift. If you haven’t gotten a set for your kids yet, it’s still a great idea! But this year for the holidays, Tegu has released all new magnetic wooden cars sets for your gifting and playing pleasure.

Tegu’s Mobility Collection includes (clockwise from the left) Hatch ($38), Maddy Micro ($22), Riley Roadster ($22), Dart ($38) and a pack of 4 wheels ($15). Since I already have a set of Tegu, I think a pack of wheels will be an awesome addition to our collection!

They Posted These So I Don’t Have To
These are some of my favorite posts from around the web over the past week.
First up there were a number of nice gift guides posted this past week including this Christmas Gift Guide 2011 : Handmade and Eco-friendly Toys on Petit Eco Kids.

You should also take a look at the For Your Wee Ones: Christmas Gift Guide on With Two Cats.

And if you haven’t found the perfect gift yet, try the blossom kids gift guide.

I also liked this simple but wonderful nursery tour of Aidan’s Blue, Green & Tranquil Room on Ohdeedoh.

Finally, lots of blogs were buzzing about Eco-friendly BeginAgain Toys. I saw them first on Inhabitots though and so if you haven’t seen them, go have a look. These make great gifts as well!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a relaxing or productive Black Friday. Tonight we’re celebrating my children’s great-grandmother’s 85th birthday. They are so lucky to have two lovely great-grandmothers who dote on them the way theirs do.
One final reminder that it’s the last weekend to enter this week’s giveaways. We’ve got a super soft and cuddly Oeuf Snake and a Chalk Table and Bench Set from P’kolino. These are awesome prizes and I’d love for some of my loyal readers to win!
Happy Thanksgiving
We’re celebrating out of town, but I’d like to wish those of you in the states a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope it’s a warm and delicious day full of time with your families.

My oldest drew this turkey on the sidewalk the other day!
Just one other message for today: Be sure to enter our awesome giveaways before you even think about doing any Black Friday shopping! Who cares about any so-called great deals when you can win things for free! This week’s giveaways are from Oeuf and P’kolino and you can also find them in the upper right sidebar.
